Oh, What a Night!
What a party atmosphere it was at Perth Floral Art Club’s December meeting! Think sparkle, spectacle, and lots of laughter — the room was buzzing as members enjoyed Christmas cake, shortbread, and a festive glass of fizz. There was plenty of excitement too as everyone hoped their last-minute tickets would be the lucky ones to win one of our fabulous Christmas hampers. And who could forget the lively rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas? It’s safe to say it’s never been sung quite like that before!
We were delighted to welcome our demonstrator, Linda Soutar, who is no stranger to our Perth club. Fresh from completing her term as President of S.A.F.A.S., Linda shared her wonderful floral creations along with entertaining stories from her many adventures — including competing at the famous Chelsea Flower Show. Of course, no evening with Linda would be complete without her trademark jokes, which had everyone in stitches!
Eighteen very happy winners went home with Christmas hampers brimming with seasonal treats, and everyone left feeling filled with festive cheer.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a success — and to Linda for her creative designs.
