Our demonstator for April’s meeting was Margaret Cook from Dundee whose theme for the evening was “Back to My Roots”. Margaret had only recently passed the demonstrator’s test and so we felt very privileged that Margaret chose us for her first demonstration.
Although new to demonstrating, Margaret has a wealth of experience, having been a florist in a former life, and arranged flowers in Glamis Castle! She hinted that she might have a story or two to tell about what went on behind the scenes at Glamis, so we’ll definitely have to get her back for a future session.

The flower club also had a visit from two lovely ladies from the Autism Support Group. Sam and Donna were presented with a cheque from our chair Janice Sloane, and as if that wasn’t enough, they also walked off with a prize in the raffle too!
