For May’s meeting the Perth Floral Art Club hit the trail. The last meeting before the summer break saw us heading to the Tomnah’a Market Garden near Comrie in Perthshire.
Tomnah’a supplies flowers for the wedding trade as well as vegetables for local shops and restaurants, so it’s very much a working market garden. So if you do visit, which we highly recommend, be sure to put on good, sturdy shoes.
We started the afternoon with the essentials – a good cup of tea with homemade scones and delicious homemade jam. Suitably refreshed we then toured the gardens, before doing some flower arranging with some of the wonderful flowers grown on-site. Thanks to all at Tomnah’a for your hospitality.
