PUMPKIN FLOWER ARRANGEMENT WORKSHOP
WEDNESDAY 30TH OCTOBER 2024
10th Perthshire Scout Hall, 2 Murray Place, Perth, PH1 1NJ (Perth Academy) – 10.00 a.m. – 12 noon
Cost = £15 per person
Design and create a beautiful sustainable Pumpkin arrangement using autumnal flowers and foliage
You will need to bring
A PUMPKIN
(please note, the larger the pumpkin the more flowers and foliage you will use)
Flowers and mixed garden foliage for a medium size pumpkin – about 5 large/medium headed flowers (focal) 5 smaller headed flowers and ‘filler’ flowers
mixed bouquets (supermarket), spray chrysanthemum, carnations – standard and/or spray, roses – standard/spray, aster
A deep container to fit inside the hole you will make in the pumpkin – that can be filled with water (no oasis)
Secateurs, floral scissors, ice cream scoop/large spoon
Felt pen and an apron – cover for your table
If you would like to add ‘Hallowe’en themed accessories/sundry items, please bring
Something to carry your pumpkin home in!
We will prepare the pumpkins at the beginning of the workshop – using the dish/jar/bowl – to gauge how much should be cut off/out of the top of the pumpkin!!
Chicken wire, knives, bin bags will be provided!
